Work around to get iphones to connect to BCoT_Zone

IOS 9 WIFI Issue (BCoT_ZONE)

There is a known issue surrounding WIFI connections made from (iPhones) to BCoT_Zone after updating to IOS 9/9.1.

IT Support have found a temporary fix/workaround, Instructions are as follows:

1      Using another mobile (not the effected iPhone) create a personal hotspot*

2      Connect to the personal hotspot on the effected iPhone

3      Whilst connected to the personal hotspot, connect back to BCoT_Zone using password (vffdiaye)

4      At this point, a connection should be made and saved unlike before

5      After BCoT_Zone is saved on the iPhone, forget the personal hotspot connection

6      Remember to switch off the personal hotspot on the other Mobile

7      Connections to BCoT_Zone should now work normally on the iPhone

This is only a temporary workaround for staff and students at the moment. IT Support are awaiting a solution from Apple.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
