Learn how English language is used in society today in spoken and written communication.

A one year course for students who love to read and write. Language production, poetic study, prose and speech will all be studied.

A one year course where emphasis is placed on appreciation, enjoyment and undertsanding of literature.

Entry level Certificate in Personal Development.

A one year course covering the basic skills required in Literacy.

A one year course covering basic mathematics that can lead to a range of qualifications achieved.

Certificate in Personal and Social Development

Functional Skills English is the qualification that will replace Key Skills Communications in September 2010.  It is similar in lots of ways, however the main change will be the way the qualification is assessed.

Functional Skills Maths is the qualification that will replace Key Skills Application of Number in September 2010.  It is similar in lots of ways, however the main change will be the way the qualification is assessed.

Functional Skills ICT is the qualification that will replace Key Skills ICT in September 2010.  It is similar in lots of ways, however the main change will be the way the qualification is assessed.

GCSE English is sometimes required to support other courses.  A student may be required to take this qualification alongside their main subject or as an entry requirement to University.

GCSE Mathematics is sometimes required to support other course. A student may be required to take this qualification alongside their main subject or as an entry requirement to University.

Keyskills Application of Number contains resources for Levels 1, 2 and 3.

Key Skills Communication contains resources for students studying Levels 1,2 and 3.
